Windows estimating system

Developed for Barrett Steel Buildings in Bradford, FoxSuite 4 represents a marriage of industry knowledge with cutting edge software technology, evidenced by Microsoft's recognition of the product in their Visual Studio 2005 launch brochure.

Barrett Steel Buildings is one of the largest structural steelwork fabricators in the UK, designing and fabricating over 100 projects each year for applications such as retail and distribution warehouses, industrial buildings and office and leisure developments, and is in the top 5 privately owned businesses in Bradford.

FoxSuite 4 tackles all the shortcomings of the previous incarnation of the internal quoting system, FoxQuote 3, which was based on an Access database back-end and Visual Basic 6 front-end. The new version employs Visual Studio 2005 and the .NET Framework 2.0, technologies which were still in beta whilst FoxSuite 4 was under development, along with SQL Server for a much improved database architecture.

Where FoxQuote 3 was just one element, requiring the use of Excel spreadsheets and Word documents to produce finished estimates, FoxSuite 4 was designed from the ground up to be an integrated whole, virtually eliminating the need to constantly switch between software applications.

Built from scratch, FoxSuite 4 can import CAD models in a matter of seconds compared to the hours taken by older versions, as well as leveraging functionality found in SQL Server Reporting Services to offer an unrivaled level of management control and monitoring. It also offers users a more pleasing user interface modelled on Windows XP and Office 2003.

FoxSuite 4 represents all that Unlimitas is built upon: use of appropriate, modern technology combined with quality software development.
